I have spent the last 15 years working in the offices of top Interior Designers, Architects, and Contractors. The Design/Build process, from concept to completion, is exceedingly complicated to navigate. I made a career out of managing different aspects of that process, and my main goal in opening McGuire Project Management is to bring all of that experience under one umbrella as a central point of contact for your new construction project!

I started my career with two degrees from UCLA in Fine Arts and Architecture and Urban Design. In the early 2000s, I moved directly into high-end residential interior design in the Hollywood Hills, working with high-profile clients to create the spaces that splash the pages of Architecture Digest and Luxe. In 2015, looking for a change of scenery, I went to the opposite end of the spectrum—practicing commercial architecture in Austin, Texas. With an emphasis on interior design, I began designing condo towers, apartment complexes, and student housing. The scale of the projects was massive, and the economic efficiency of the process was so different from residential design—much of our streamlined process at McGuire Project Management comes from that time in my career. The Pandemic brought me back to SoCal and Santa Barbara, where I freelanced for local SB Contractors, Interior Designers, and Architects. The weather here is unreal, and while I loved Texas—you can't beat Santa Barbara! I decided to open McGuire Project Management in 2022 with a focus on the client interface and construction management.

If you can dream it, I can design, permit, and assemble a team to build it—but I work in all capacities. I was an architect and interior designer, so I worked well with them. I also have experience working in a contractor's office, so I know the players in Santa Barbara who are generally worth the price tag. I design and permit most projects while staying heavily involved in GC bidding and selection through the completion of the project—but I'm happy to engage with a client at any point in their process.

I'm in this business because I love people and care about their projects.
